Yung Gravy to Have the Stage for UNA'due south Jump Concert

FLORENCE, AL – Yung Gravy, and American rapper known for his hits "Betty" and "Mr. Clean," will be the featured performer at the University of North Alabama 2023 Spring Concert on April 20, in the CB&South Banking company Arena at Flowers Hall.

"We chose Yung Gravy as our 2023 Spring Concert artist considering of the engaging atmosphere he creates with the crowd," said Mallory Campbell, University Programme Quango Productions Promoter. "We had heard from many students who went to his shows that he was super-energetic, and that they all wanted to become back. Thus, Yung Gravy quickly became a front-runner in our pursuit of a Jump Concert artist."

Bold Bloom and Sarah Cothran are set to appear every bit opening acts before Yung Gravy takes the phase. The Spring Concert has become a much-anticipated tradition at UNA, according to Campbell.

"The Leap Concert is a fun tradition at UNA because it's an event that students expect forrard to, whether that's from the declaration of the Bound Concert, to the concert itself, " she said. "It is a fun time to spend with friends and an engaging way to celebrate the stop of the schoolhouse year and starting time of summer."

Planning for the Spring Concert begins long before performers are booked and advertised, or whatever tickets sold.

"Since September of 2022, the University Program Council has been diligent in pursuing a spring concert artist under the leadership of Production Promoter, Ms. Mallory Campbell," said Becca Bush, Coordinator of Pupil Activities. "During the fall, Mallory sought out educatee insight and the ane name we consistently heard was Yung Gravy. Therefore, we are thrilled to exist able to fulfill this asking and bring such a well-known creative person to campus."

The show will begin at 7 p.m., and doors will open up at half dozen p.m. A limited number of free student tickets are still available, and tickets for the general public are $30 and are available at this link.
